Designed by preeminent golf course designer Donald Ross, Rackham Golf Course offers a 71 par, 18-hole course with well contoured greens and numerous protective bunkers. First opened in 1924, this well-loved course is rated among the top ten municipal golf courses in Michigan and provides golfers with such amenities as a fully stocked pro shop, cart rentals, a snack bar, and chipping and putting greens. Located next to the Detroit Zoological Park, the golf course lies 20 miles north of downtown Detroit in the city of Huntington Woods.
